I have a Ford 8.8 with the M.O.R.E E-Brake cables. The E-brake sucks and does not hold. I have adjusted the cable under the Jeep. Has anyone had this problem? I have thought about replacing the cable from E-Brake to the adjustment bracket. This brake will hold sometimes and sometimes it will not hold on a slight hill.

Mine does the same thing, I adjusted everything and it is still weak but holds.

Yeah same thing here!!! It holds but not very well...just enough to stop it on my driveway... If you figure something out let us know. I just live with it the way it is.
New e-brake shoes and hardware seem to help. Make sure to get all the mud and grime out of the rotor though. Other wise you got the same problem.

I used Grand Cherokee cables on my 8.8 with new shoes and it holds damn good. Glad I didnt use MORE cables....this seems to be a big problem.

I used Grand Cherokee cables, adjusted the e-brake shoes and put a 1" spacer between the pull cable(attached to handle) and the piviot arm(plate where rear cables attach) and it works great. I might have a pic but cant post cuz I have been too busy to pay $20....sorry.
