Is there anyone here from texas a and m. I am wanting to attend Grad School there(George Bush). What I was wondering is what it takes to be in their four wheel drive club. I ran into them a few years ago in clayton at it seemed like a cool deal to get involved in.............

Not affiliated but I don't imagine it's hard to get in if your going to school there.

i'm an active member in Texas A&M Off-Road, if u want to be in our club all u have to do is pay dues, we have several active members and a lot of non-active ones, but i think that's how everything goes, u can check out our website or email me at LandonR@tamu.edu

I'm a new member of TAMOR and all you have to do is sign up and pay your dues. Its a lot of fun and there are some really good rigs this year. :D

I'm in TAMOR... thre George Bush school is a bad ass Poli Sci program... their undergrad program was one of my majors when I was at A+M. I would recommend TAMOR...just get ready to be around A LOT of dumbasses, and a few cool folks. Seems likethere are only a handful of really interested folks in TAMOR. As far as rigs go... there are some good ones...but most who wheel have graduated. If you really want to wheel while at A+M look up Scott Schubring... He's redcagedtoy or something like that here on POR...he's graduated, but he wheels alot, and knows what's up. He's pretty cool too.

I've been meaning to join, its just that I can't ever seem to make the meetings. It looks like I'll be moving to BCS at the beginning of the summer, and then I'll definitely join.

Leave it to a red raider to screw up something this simple.

As an older member of TAMOR I have to agree with TexasTeadrinker that there are a LOT of dumbasses in the club, at least when I graduated ('00). Having said that, it would definitely be worth your while to check them out. The core group is an outstanding bunch of folks.

There are all kinds of rigs in TAMOR. There are a few of us spending lots of time in the garage now, myself included, so in the near (or not so near, depending on $$$ :( ) future you should have some company for your "extreme" wheeling, should you decide to stick with it.

Best of luck to you with grad school, be it at A&M or otherwise, and I hope to see you on the trails!

Oh, LANDON...when are you going to Dallas again?

Well, a few of you DID say there were a bunch of dumb-asses down there! Would that be those dirt-road drivers who think big rocks are the ones the size of a size 10 shoe? Or maybe the mall-crawlers flexing on the curbs? :D :flipoff2: :D
