: Cheapest place to buy good orbital valves?

After looking through hours of posts on hydraulic steering all that I came up with on the valves is wagoner machine has char-lynn's for 350$ Where else can I get them for cheap?

used, at a tractor or forktruck boneyard. Nothing really goes wrong with them.

by load sensing, do you mean self-centering? How many turns lock to lock?

they were some posted in the for sale section for 200 a piece. i can get you one brand new for a toyota forklift for 200.00 just pm me if you are intrested. mike

THats not what I heard! I want it to be brand new so I dont have it puking out on the trail. Plus if you get it off one of those you wont know the lock to lock turn ratio unless the forklift or whatever runs, right? I would love to save the $, but also want to avoid hassel.

Do you mean self centering? Thats a good deal, but does it come with the splined shaft to run to my stock steering shaft?


I talked to Wagoner machine shop today and they told me that they sell Porter orbital valves with a splined adapter shaft to make it possible to run your stock shaft whatever it may be on. They said that Porter is what they and everyone else they know run without any probs! It's a $400 setup with the splined shaft which is pretty pricey.
