Doesn't exist Newbie.:flipoff2:
Chris is getting his gearing through the t-case and axles.
You could in theory adapt a T5 with a 4:1 first or maybe an NV3500 (~3.8). There are Toyota trannies with lower firsts as well. SOS makes an adater to make to the 1600 block (I think). Maybe OTT does as well. I don't think it is worth the effort/expense.
If you want lower gearing you'd need to swap out your t-case for something that is lower (GRS II, RGRS, Sumo, etc.) or stack a set of toy cases.
Run the 77:1 first and see if you need lower. I doubt you will in N.S.

Ha!
Do the math...
Depending on which 5th gear ratio he has in it he's either doing ~4600RPM or ~4200RPM at 100 km/h.

First off, you don't need to buy a 4.16 case. With the `84 case you have the parts required to make a 4.16 case. You need another "regular" Sam case.
I think Chris is running a 6:1 case and Toy axles plus he has a Klune on the way. Or something like that. Can't remember. Check his web site.
T5 comes in various cars, Ford, GM, Nissan, etc. You need to do some mixing and matching to get the 4:1 first gear in a short tranny. Lots of variants. IMO, not worth the effort for such a minor gain. Be different if you were swapping in a ford V6 or a GM 2.8/3.4.
Regear the t-case if you need the gearing. Go with the 4:1 case and then go from there.

Hey Mike I do belive that Chris is running toy 5:29 gears and a GRS 2 the 4:89 so i dont belive that comes to 160:1 or what ever you thought it was.

GRS 2 + 5.29's = 94:1 which is definately not low enough for traversing waterfalls with 35" tires. It felt pretty good with my 33's but these tires are just over an inch taller and boy did it make a difference. I thought about a 6:1, even emailed Dave about avalability a month ago, I'd be waiting a while for a marginally better crawl ratio (117:1). Only way deeper is to add another case which is what I am looking into at the moment. Someone suggested running dual toy cases using one of OTT's divorced t-case adapters. I am guessing I'd need to have my intermediate driveshaft shortened and then fab up some mounts for the t-cases. So far I haven't found anyone who has tried this with a 1.3 and stock tranny.I may just wait and check out Oilburners Klune in Moab, I'll most likely be ordering one that evening from the campground :D Quite honestly 94:1 seemed sufficent for everything (like the picture below), except for really steep climbs.
