: Ive got that Skyjacker Sag

I drive a glass SSII, so not much weight on the rear most of the time. I put on Skyjacker 2 1/2 inch springs in 98. They have flattened out a little over time, but that has not been a big deal. Now though when I put much weight in the back, and especially if I have something on the hitch hauler or a trailer the headlights are pointing at the moon, and the rear is sagging beyond reason. I called up skyjacker and the guy told me that they may be warranted if they have sagged, but I need to remove them and measure their arch with no axle tied on or anything. I am under the impression that the new kits come with an extra leaf. My deal is I think mine are shot, (they never sagged with weight in the back the way they do now) but are sagging with weight, and that the free arch will still be within specs. I have 5 inches up travel when unladen before the axle hits the factory bumpstop.

Has anyone gone through this and knows what the go/no go specs are on these things as far as the unladen free arch is concerned?
