I was pulling the tbi and computer out of a 90 model one ton crewcab chevy. I have never disected a computer harnass before, so I have just a question or two. The computer was easy, then fished the harnass thru the firewall. Prior to pulling it thru the firewall i had a small square plug that i disconnected; where does that go? Then I split the harnass and traced and peeled all the wires out that went to the plugs for the computer. Now I have four or five wires left that run into the fuse panel. What are these? Can I cut them? I plan to drop a cummins into this chevy so I sure don"t want to butcher it. and the wiring harnass is going into a bigblock oneton jeep.

try not to cut anything. it will make life much easyer when the new install comes for the jeep.
secondly the CTD is only going to need about 5-6 wires to operate all the systems, most of them will be based off the ignition switch.
