Does anyone have pics of an EB with the rear axle moved back 6-8"? I'm thinking of doing this to mine, just wondering what it looks like when all is said and done. I'm currently running 38.5" tires, i'm thinking when i cut that much i may have to go bigger so it doesn't look goofy.
Thanks,
Steve

DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!
you JUST bought your truck. and it is WAY WAY WAY more extreme than your old rover would have ever been. why not just wheel it as is for a season and then slowly start changing things so that you like it???
youve had it what, like 6 weeks? how many times have you wheeled it? i know you are cash-crazy because of the HUGE wad you have from selling your 90 but COME AWN. has some restraint would ya pal? invest it, buy your mom a new something, you already have enough cool parts on that bronco to last you a year learning how to DRIVE it before learning how to MODIFY it.

actually what you don't know is that i've had an FJ40, another EB, and CJ also in the family...all of which i've been wheeling since i was 15 and riding shotgun in since i was 7. The Rover was definitely not extreme compared to others we've had, it just happened to be my DD. I bought the Bronco already having a vision of how i want it, much like you and your new truck. Am I giving you advice to just wheel it for two years and buy your mom stuff rather than throw in a D60/D70? Sometimes you have good ideas and you're definitely fairly knowledgable for someone your age...however, if you don't have an answer to my question, don't post in my thread :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

ok, but have you ever had a truck on 38.5" swampers before? i am guessing, and i may be wrong, that this bronco is the most extreme you have had before. so why not leave it as is for at least one season, so you can learn the tricks to driving it.
not telling you what to do, just suggesting.

actually we had a CJ 3linked front and rear with 35s. This was about 5 years ago when virtually no one had bigger tires than 35s. I would consider that truck as extreme or more extreme than this one. It certainly was flexier. Then again I was in MD then and now I'm in CO so the terrain i get to play with is much more fun.

I think lee Novikoff's is around 100-104" he is running coilovers...pics of his rig are on www.lonestar-ebc.com under members rigs. You're in the bronco crowd now... all Rover people are required to kiss our asses as we pull them off of ledges and such.
