: CJ Lift Height - What my name!

I know - STFU newb!

I recently sold my YJ and bought a CJ-

Question is this: How much lift do I have?
What is a stock hub - top of front fender height?
Looks like 35's will go pretty easily - possibly 36's
beyond that is over axle limitations anyways.
(AXLES =1983 wide track with lockrite lockers 3.55 gears, rear has one piece axle shafts)
PO said (SUSPENSION =4" Skyjacker springs, 1" greasable shackles, 1" body lift)
These dont look like lift shackles to me? look stock.
Would 4" Skyjacker springs be stiff - because these spring packs are so loose it leans like f@wk on side hills.

Also will the current "rock sliders" twist my frame?
I plan to remove them - cut 'em apart and use them on the tub over some 12ga. rockers I'm building. So I guess it's a null point, but I'm curious if they really will twist the frame bolted onto the sides as they are currently.

The shacles are definately longer than stock. At least an inch.
I have met other CJ guys with Skyjacker Softride that were happy with how much the move, so no they are not always stiff.

Looks to be Con-Ferr shackles, about 3/4" lift. The suspension was probably4" originally but looks to be about 2-3 now, and the TJ flares are opening the wheel wells to help with the size. Nice CJ, much better then some old Yj! j/k:flipoff2:

I'd say your jeep looks nice and like they said those are after market shackles, looks like 1/4" thick. ////////and those tires look like 34"?? The axles will hold fine. What are you doing with the jeep??? rock crawling, muding?
