I think that look is a bit too much. takes away the look of sami in samurai , mines hacked but not that much at all and I think its a bit too much . (would post pic if the option wasnt locked on me).
My Thoughts:smokin:

Ya true true , But My rig probly works just the same, with no rubbing at all 16/35/15 boggers . Just dont see the need for all that cuttin . On the other hand it rains or snows where I am 50% of the time and You probly get 1 month out of the year when the weather gets like that .
.Just my thoughts

all the cutting is called big tires and little lift. it helps keep a lower center of gravity. as for the rear it is call longer wheelbase which increases climbig abitlity. as for yours doing just as good well that is good. lets see some pic's and spec's on it.

Sorry, Kev but 2 Samurai's, even identical in every way except wheelbase, will not work "The Same".
And if you have not done Any sheetmetal work and are not rubbing w/ 35" Boggers, your rig probably has 8" more lift - this makes a Huge difference. Not to say either approach is better - just Not the Same. Everybody has their own opinion about how much a vehicle should be modified. Some people want more capability out of their Samurai than 79" of wheelbase will allow.;)

Sweet rig! Don't shy away from the sawzall, enbrace it as your bud! You got the right idea: big tires, little lift, longer wheelbase, low gears. I'm in the same boat for the same reasons, and I dig your rig!
And as of this post....I'm no longer a newbie!

yeah he thinks just because he gets alittle shit on his neck that he has to go around trying to hug everyone. i think it was just an excuse because he must be really :rainbow: :D

Cant stand it I gotta reply on this one. I just thought my sami would wheel until I stretched it 16 more inches. Boy was I wrong.
Kev if you dont think legnth makes a difference ask Lorena Bobbit's victim.

um...no i said 97". if you can't tell in the pic the body and frame were lengthened 10" just infront of the rear wheel wells. also the front was slid out somewhere between 4-6" when the wrangler springs and d44's were installed. and also the rear was moved back a few too.

kevzuki, your rig looks pretty well built but with that short wheel base it wont climb the big rocks. you will be seeing sky all the time. i have been there a 80 in wheel base on 35 pulls way to many wheelies. i have damn near put mine on its roof to many times to count, and i can go back to the same ledge with my cruiser and drive right up it. longer wheelbase works if you have the room on the trails for it. mike

guys, guys, guys....
Kevzuki didn't say what you are starting to go into a wheelbase feeding frenzy over:flipoff2:
he's got toy axles with YJ's and custom coil work in the back doesn't that sound like there's possibly been a wee increase the wheel base at least? can i put these mods on my stock wheel base as a no change bolt on?(coooool):D
also note he said "probably" and not in an in your face kinda way, just he likes more sheetmetal than less, that's all.
i love the looks of the tube creations/sawzall hacked things-just not on mine thank you very much.
i hope there's room in the world for limousine wheelbase tubed 'n hacked sammies and their brethren.:D

Good to hear that these 97 inch zuks work well, mine is right around 98 now, and about the same width. I can't wait to get it rolling!!!
