If ya want to get some polygraphite bushings for your rig, but dont want to pay PST's high prices compared to what the Energy Suspension costs(from Summit Racing), here's some good news. Energy Suspension makes PST's bushings. If you order the black Energy Suspension bushings, they are graphite impregnated just like P-S-T. At least this is what the Tech at Energy Suspension said when I asked how to tell the difference between the two products that I had unintentionaly mixed up (dumbass) For instance I spent $75 from PST for cab bushings for a 77 ford pickup. The same thing but packaged in an Energy suspension box was $56. Food for thought for all ya cheap bastards like myself

I heard that before, which is why I run black even though the guys at the counter always ask my why I would buy black (it isn't a friggin show rig!)
Last time they had red and I wanted black (just cause I heard that) and the guy was like "well what color is your truck." I said red, and he looked at my like I was the biggest idiot in the world. Kinda funny really - the people at the shops don't even drive 4x's I don't think, they sell stuff based on looks! Scary..

I bought bushings for my car based on looks (red). They look cool, and perform great, but I dont like the sqeaking I get from them bushings. We'll see with these black ones.

try lithium grease, you can get it in a spray can - seems to work fairly well (for a while)

To keep the squeak away try using antiseize on your polys

Not to be a dick but DERRRRRR They say on the packaging and ads I think its energy suspension components. :flipoff2: They are based in phoenix and used to be a kick ass place to get stuff from. They were into every aspect of auto bushings. All oldtimers and stuff. Now its a bunch of punk ass gangsta's in lowriders who wouldnt know a bushing from a tit. All they know is car stereo sh*t. I really lost respect from that place and they lost my bidness. IMO poly is poly and it all squeaks so I get it as cheap as possible now. Hell JC Shitney sells poly stuff now.

I use to have the older 4x4s that had a hole drilled through the bolt lengthwise, then cross drilled. A grease zerk was tapped into the bolt, and regular lubing totally eliminated all squeaks. But then again, all those bolts were 1/2" or bigger.
Nice to know when there's a good deal to be had.:emb:
