Just purchased a 71 Jimmy 4x4.:cool2: I want to swap a five speed manual in like I have in my 92 Chevy ECSB. Is it possible or will it be too long for the wheelbase? I plan to put a NP205 in also, will this bolt up to the newer 5 speed. Thanks foe any input.

i guess youre talking about the nv4500 you would be better off bolting in a sm465 205 combo imho.
