OK I DONT HAVE ANY PICS OR DRAWINGS BUT TRY TO FOLLOW........
ON A MUSCLE CAR TRACTION BAR SPRING UNDER....THERE IS BASICALLY A PIECE OF RECTANGLE TUBING CONNECTED TO THE SPRING PLATE AND EXTENDS TO THE FRONT OF THE SPRING.....
WHEN THE AXLE ROTATES UP THE TUBING HITS THE SPRING AND STOPS THE ROTATION.....
IN MY CRUZAH I DONT HAVE THE ROOM FOR A WRAP BAR SO HERES MY IDEA....I AM SOA IN THE REAR NOW....WITH THE U BOLT SKIDS ON THE TOP OF THE SPRING.....
WHAT IF I GOT SOME 2X3 AND WELDED IT TO THE PLATE EXTENDING IT TO THE FRONT OF THE SPRING....OBVIOUSLY ON TOP OF THE SPRING...KEEPIING IT FAR ENOUGH AWAY SO IT WILL STILL FLEX......AT THE END HAVE SOMETHING THAT WRAPS AROUND THE SPRING AND WILL HIT THE SPRING WHEN THE BAR RISES STOPPING THE AXLE WRAP.......
ONE ON EACH SPRING...
THINK ITL WORK

it would..but then youd have that big thang hangin underneath your axel/spring. lets see a pic of whats hoggin all the room to prevent a traditional bar. im curious. even with a lot of d-train, you could offset the bar.

THE BARS WOULD GO ON THE TOP OF THE SPRING OPPOSITE OF A MUSCLE CAR TRACTION BAR.........NOTHING HANGING DOWN......
NO PICS ...BUT MY REAR SPRINGS ARE MOVED IN UNDER THE FRAME.......SHOCKS ARE INSIDE THE SPRING IN FRONT OF THE AXLE.......UNTIL I GET A FUEL CELL......
MY BIG ASS FLOWMASTER IS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE ..........THERE IS ROOM ON THE IF I MOVE MY SHOCKS.......BEHIND THE AXLE AFTER I RID THE REAR TANK........
I GUESS I NEED TO BUY A UEL CELL........
THINK MY IDEA WILL WORK THO.......

did you cut out the stock xmember?...i had hardly any room and had cut the stock xmember, so i got some tubing, welded it to some 1/4" flat bar and sandwiched it between the frame rails to make a new xmember, and you can position it wherever you want..from there i'd weld the bracket for the shackle on the new xmember, so the bar can move w/ the axle and still control the wrap...just find how you could mount a xmember and make it connect to that...but you have your shocks in the way right?...i thought i was completely stuck, but then i did what i did and it'd work great for a traction bar

it will not work. to prevent axle wrap with a single bar on each side like you described, the bar would have to attach to the bottom of the housing to work when running a soa. if you don't believe me then just try it. the connection point on the spring plate will just act a a pivoting point for wrap. ask me how i know :D been there done that. go with the single ladderbar setup with a shackle at the forward end. it is proven and it works. the single bar ends also cause binding which will limit flex.

I second that. I made bar that attached to the top of the axle, with one mount and yeah it reduced the amount of spring wrap a lot but then I got into bending springs. And that sucks!!!
