Was helping RK92YJ with a leaky rear axle seal on his 89 grand waggy (Dana44) and now we're stuck.
What came out: it's a tapered roller bearing. Two pieces a race and a bearing pressed onto the axle with a collar. We cannot read the lettering on the bearing itself, but the race is a timken part # U360L. We THINK this cross references to a BCA25523 and 25590.
The problem: Everybody we go to is trying to tell us it should have either a Set 10 or SA10. This is a one piece bearing with the race already on it and doesn't separate. looks like it MIGHT be the same size, but not sure and unwilling to gamble.
Anybody got some insight on this one? The axle is apart and sitting in the driveway, immobile until we can figure it out. PLEASE HELP!
