i was out havin fun just the other day and when i was in 4 hi i romped on tthe gas and heard i pop in the front axel.now when you put it in 4 wheel drive the transfer case engages but front axel wont lock

What do you mean when you say it won't lock?
If your in park and you put it in 4wheel drive, can you turn the front drive shaft?
sounds like you might have to jack it up and check around the front end and see what you broke.
what year chevy is this?

Fuck man... just crawl under it and pull the diff cover off so you can see what is going on. If you pull the cover and parts fall out, you fucked it up. If you can't figure out how to pull the diff cover off, sell your truck and buy a Honda.
If everything looks cool in the diff, then you probably broke a hub or something.

it just the front 4x4 knock fuse >>>>just replace the fuse and it will slove all your problems without doing any work>>> cheers
