i have a 99 chevolet blazer that having a little electrical problem that i can not figure out. when on turn the key ignition on the milage will show up along with the gear selector but when i start it the milage will go away and the gauges will not work. but when it is running and i take the cluster fuse out the gauges will go out but the miliage and gauge selector will pop back on. any suggestions!!!!

Might be a ground issue for the gauges. check them and make sure they are secure as well as all your plugs for the gauges.

Just a thought.

Sounds like an ign switch. They get arced internally and the high resistance will cause some things to work but not others that take higher amperage and not just a voltage signal. Good luck db

Ditto. Check the ignition switch. I had mine replaced in my '00, it wouldn't let me start the truck, security lock out. Wait 5 mintues and it would fire up.
