ok this is out of the Naoco axel and I was wondering whould you think there as strong as say a Dana 44 U-joint

The splines are the part that I think is the weekest link
never and i mean never but birfields in your truck on purpose. :D
even if it was a strong as a 44 its not like you can run down to napa a pick up a spare birf for that. and i am sure napa will have a 44 joint.

They are part of the picture! Probably cut out of cardboard. Look closely and you can see pencil marks.

I've seen birfields out of a one ton landrover that were as big a a dana 60 u-joint and took easily as much abuse
and the guy that runs em has a line on more cheap, and a very heavy right foot to test them with
i'd bet they were close to what you have there
what are the measurements?
