It seems like my pushrod on both the master and slave are too long  Put in a new clutch, slave died, put in a new master and slave (both were exact matches of the original) The clutch released fine but then i noticed slipping like the engagement was not complete. So i made an adjustable slave pushrod. I have this fawker like 1-1.5 inches shorter than stock and it still seems too long. The pedal is catching high on the stroke and will sometimes slip.

the entire thing is bled (vacuume bled, normal bled, bled bled)

Anyone else have a problem like this?
Any tricks i am missing to adjusting an Isuzu clutch other than any other "normal" hydro clutch?

also is the cltch fork supposed to have a return spring on it? There is a hole at the end of the fork but no spring or another hole anywhere else on the tranny.

If the master cyl isn't working correctly, it could "pump up" the slave, causing the clutch not to fully engage when you let your foot off the pedal (as would a booger in the slave act like a check valve, as would old swollen hoses act like a check valve and prevent full fluid return).

It might be hard to catch it, but if you can get the problem to repeat itself, then shut 'er down without touching the clutch pedal. Quickly crawl under and open the bleeder. If some squirts out, and you see the clutch release arm "relax" a bit, then you know that somethings causing the slave to pump up.

ok I adjusted it till there is no "pre-load" but now the fuckin peddle does not come all the way back up, BUT if i push the fork/slave in a little it will pop back up...

is this fucker supposed to have a return spring? like i said there is a hole for one but i think is for the cable clutch.

would adding one hurt?
