Some of us sign up but we still do our own thing anyway  I can't stand most of the trail leaders as they are in too much of a rush to get so many vehicles through they forget about the last half of the group. We caught 3 groups last year (not inlcuding you guys:flipoff2: )and ended up helping them out of the trails till the wee after hours. Should be fun as usual. And anyone is welcome to join us. I pretty much know all the trails in the area, I think

Not sure... usually go down tuesday, but we'll see this year....
Which way do you guys come from AZ? Depending, maybe on your way out we can head up to Socorro to play (trails are 5-10 min from i-25)... There are some pretty extreme stuff to play on, some monster waller falls.... Maybe hit it up Sunday??? just an option if you get bored in LC

Take the Old Nemesis II line, there wont be much of a Highway on that one, I havent seen anyone do it without a winch, even my Campbell Ent chassis buggy would go over backwards on it without the winch.

we went up it the first time 4 years ago and its never been done since then . we decided it was time to lay tracks on it again, officially, with a LC4WD member watching.
a few of the locals got up it winch assited saturday afternoon. i expect it'll be driven unassisted very soon.

Good times for sure! David, you didnt miss too much on Sat. We ended up in a larger group for Tabasco, so we werent off the trail as early as the other days. It was a good group of people though. A Wrangler broke a front axle and so did a Rubicon. KC lost a few beads, but was up and going in no time. All the repairs were fast. We were all in a hurry to make it back for dinner/raffle that eve. We did some high speed rallying out of there and still made good time. I stayed back to make sure the last of the group made it to the trailers. The big K5 ran out of propane just as he was coming out, but someone had extra and it was covered. It was a HOOT! I've got some really good pics of you guys -will get them up soon (Nate, check your PMs!) :D Had some great times with old friends and met some great new ones...Lookin forward to next year. :D
