Yep I'm new, been lurking for ages, but havent had a lot to add. I recently built myself a 42 from a frame, and did the spring over, saginaw thing to it,stealing most of the parts from a bj60 that I took the fire wrench to, rear axle, 3b, 5speed, leafs...(those springs work great for a spring over to a 42, fronts are perfect length and axle offsset for a shackle reversal, and the rears are pretty much like the fj60 springs.)
So now I have a cheezy locker sitting on my table begging to be put in , but it wont fking stop snowing here! was gonna splurge for an arb, but just got reamed by revenue canada(our version of IRS) so that went out the window.
and next on the list will be some gears. either the marks gears or some r&p's but we'll see.
so bring on the middle fingers....
