I have a 1990 5.0 out of a bronco that has never been touched meaning the original plugs wires etc are on it the motor has all the wiring you could imagine in perfect order.
now, who can help me out with tips and opinions? will a t-18 for sure mate up? Yes i know that the t-18 is a ford, but are their longer or shorter inputs and splines?
thanks

I am in the middle of this swap right now. a T-18 will bolt right up. I am using both novak motor mounts and dana 300 adaptor. They are both very beefy and I am quite satisfied with both of them and I should have my motor and tranny in the Jeep this weekend. The only thing I am worried about is wiring up the motor if u get that figured out I would love to hear from you. Godd luck on your swap.

I swapped a 5.0 in my Jeep with a np435 and it all bolted up. I had to buy a adapter for the t-case because I put the Early Bronco T-case in it. I didnt have much troubles at all...

Um, yeah, what Corn said... <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0">
The wiring isn't too bad, once you get your head around what's really necessary. Here's a link to the wiring section of my writeup:

I can probably help if you have any specific q's on this stuff.
Good luck,
Chris

Chris,
Your write up, was easily the most helpful source of information, I found when I was swapping in my 5.0. You did a great job of documenting and photographing the project.
The fuel pump retrofit was a great set up.
Great job,
Thanks.
