Still doing research on this matter. I called AA today to discuss the YJ Clutch Master Cylinder. Vern over there informed me that the YJ CMC has a 1-1/16" bore size. The Yota Slave they sell and use in their GM conversions requires a 1" bore size. These two will work good together. New hoses and fittings would be required because the Yota is metric.

For those of you who just purchased an aftermarket slave, did you consider or take into account the bore size of the CMC? Of the ones I've found on SummitRacing.com, they are require a .75" bore size. Vern says not to worry about it, but the sales rep at HoweRacing didn't recommend it. Mainly because of excess pressure created by the offset bore size requirements.

Any feedback?

I like AA but I would stick with the info Howe gives you if they vary. That is just me. Honestly I think either setup would work just great. There are a lot of "in the perfect setup" numbers at work here that are not as important as it may seem.

What it comes down to is does the master move enough fluid in a reasonable amount of pedal travel to disengage your clutch with out being to hard to use comfortably.

Sad but tru all the math in the world won;t give you the real answear to this. Get the stuff that is close and put it on, if it doesn't work try again or use what you learn to revise the system.

I personally think the YJ master is a good match to the Willwood slave becaus eI know it works
