Has anyone heard of an aluminum Jeep ? My brother's estate in Alaska includes an aluminum frame, aluminum bodied jeep that was apparently tested or used by either the Coast Guard or Air Force. It has matching flanged hubs at all 4 corners so that it can be quickly slung under a heliocopter and lifted out. We would like to either restore it (naw) or bring it down here and wheel it, (yeeeehaw) as I think he would have enjoyed that immensely. The year and model are unknown, any info would be sincerely appreciated. :smokin: I have included a poll, I think, as to whether it should be restored or built, wheeled and rolled.
