Went up to Longmont and took a look around at their shop. Pretty cool little place. Tom (one of the owners) was awesome! He BS-ed with my buddy and me for an hour and a half, even after they closed. He was a really cool guy and was actually a lot younger than I had expected (probably around 25 yrs old).
There shop was really nice, too. Small place, but really clean. He kept saying not to mind the mess, but I wasn't sure what he was talking about.
I got a chance to check out the new buggy, too. :D All I can say is wow. It is pretty sweet. It has a 1.6L, stock tranny, 4:1 case, and there custom axles. They should be testing some 6:1's soon, though. The axles were pretty sweet. They custom build the housings and everything and use a rear Sidekick third. Front u-joints are 297's. Tom said they are still fine tuning the shafts right now, but they should hit the market in late April. They were running 35x12.50 MT/R's on it, but said the axle could easily handle 37's. Looked sweet.
I also saw the Arachnid there. It was also very cool. There was another Zuk on toy axles I was drooling over. Very cool stuff.
Anyway, it was a fun afternoon and Tom was an awesome guy. Definitely recommend them. Should have pics of the finished buggy next week sometime. :D ~Steve

Yeah I'm planning on making a detour over to Eddie's place on my way back from Moab next month. That bunch is 1st class all the way. They are Very meticulous with Everything they do.

A couple of years ago, Eddie and a couple of his buddies drove all the way from New Jersey to meet us at Tellico & they couldn't make it down until Early Sat. morning. They 'wheeled with us all day Sat. & had to head back the next day. That's a LONG trip just for one day of riding!

Yeah, they are great guys with great products. I hope to do some wheeling with them this summer, too. They said they don't know too many trails in the area yet, so... :D ~Steve
