Hey Pig pilots , we have some leftover adapters and mainshafts originally developed to make a Klune "david" 4 to 1 underdrive adapt to the Cruzah 19 spline 4 speed tranny. With all of the other gearing options out there , the klune hasn't been a big seller in the LC world. The front of the Klune mimics the jeep new process 231 23 spline transfer case , and will also adapt a 23 spline Atlas Transfer case. In your opinion , should I market these leftover adapters as an atlas adapter ? I have the transmission main shafts and adapters in stock , What do you guys think?

So this would let someone easily adapt a atlas into a FJ60 right??

I have a spare 60 tranny that would compliment that adapter in a 40 or 55 beautifully :)

I think a bigger market would be to market it to folks using the h55f. Not sure if you could machine an oiler for the the 5th gear or not. There aren't a ton of folks keeping their h42s who use the ultra low gears. Most who have had low gear needs have gone to a different tranny. It is too bad more people didn't buy the Klunes for Cruisers. It is definitely a pricing issue. It isn't that a lot of Cruiser folks wouldn't like to have a Klune.

More info....The Mainshafts we have were designed for the FJ 40 16 spline four speed (this mainshaft also works in the 19 spline version , (or so I'm told) and have a 23 spline output with an adapter plate to the Jeep 6 bolt circular pattern (D300 , Atlas , Stak , Etc.)

Should we pursue marketing these adapters?
