I've heard there's some people here with power to locate someone. Well this guy scammed me out of $450 and several other people also. The total that I know he got from Jeeps Unlimited members was $1887. His handle is Maricopa and his real name is Steve Glorsky. I sent the money to maricopa1469@yahoo.com. I tried everything I know to get him caught. I'd like to get my money back, but even if that doesn't happen as long as he doesn't get away with scamming people anytime he feels like it. He said he's a college kid from Texas, but I don't know what city. Paypal attempted to recover the funds after he never shipped, but of course the account was empty.
When I turned it over to the police they filed a report, but since it was a different state they couldn't do anything about it. I turned it over the the IFCC, but they were overloaded. To sum it up nobody cared since there wasn't murder involved.
Paypal, Yahoo, and Jeeps Unlimited mods care more about his privacy than justice, so they won't release any of his info.
I'm asking for help from you guys. Anything you can do to help me locate him and get this resolved is appreciated.

The best I can figure they made one attempt to get it from his account and never did anything else. I never got any of the $450 back from paypal.

Don't buy from JU classifieds. Not that pbb classifieds are any safer, but at least when people get ripped around here, the thread will get a million page views.. :flipoff2:

Thanks, but that's a dead end. He's a well established doctor that would have no need to rip off people to get his money.
Wait... Is't that what doctors do for a living? Well I guess they do help sometimes.

 Thanks for that link, I remember why I don't go to JU anymore now.
You must have a low paying worthless job because the time value of money would not allow myself to spend so much time on something so stupid. Then again, you were stupid enough to send money to some jackass on a Jeep forum. A fool and his money are soon departed. :wavin2:
You are all idiots for buying things online from private owners. Guess you didn't save money now did you idiots?

:shaking: :shaking: :shaking: Fucking tools. I can't help, but I've just got to say that you really handled yourself well in that thread rather than going off like a twelve year old. Good luck.

Can you repost this on the other forums where this guy scammed people - please repost below.
1) You're doing the right thing by creating a LOCAL police report.
2) Next step - file with the IFCC
3) If paying via mail - file a mail fraud form with USPS.
4) Take 1,2,&3 above. Call the LOCAL PD in Pearland, TX (I'll let you guys ask for the number) - ask to speak to "white collar crime department". Tell your story and fax over 1,2,&3 above. Local PD can ACT on the reports from above.
More info:
Glorsky, Steven Lan
TX Lic 019142325
DOB 12/6/59
(above info was as of Sep 5 2000 - so he may have moved), but this is what you need to ID him to the PD.

good job.some one should get kick backs for this.
