so far i got everything unbolted but the torck converter. the second part of the oil pan is in the way, i tried every tool i got and can'y fit it in there.

so my question is if i unbolt the allen bolts of the oilpan and take it off will it give me room to unbolt the converter? what i meen is it will come out by takint those allen bolts off

not familiar with this engine or even torque convertors but don't they bolt to the flexplate or something? I thought i remember reading about making adjustments to it through the starter hole.

Ok, first;

What vehicle is it?
What motor is it?
What are you trying to do? Remove the engine? Or just pull the torque converter?
Pics help.
And what is this "in there". Come on, be more descriptive.

sorry guys, it's a 99 trooper 3.5L engine, auto trans. i'm trying to take the engine out. it got ran without no oil, and i need to rebuild the bottom end.
