Getting ready to pour a concrete floor in my drive shed for a shop. Going to be 30x40 but I was wondering how much clearance I need around a bender (planning on sinking some mount points in concrete). Any advice appreciated.

go with hydro on roll around stand-forget the manual in fixed location.

You could wait until your shop is built, then decide. It's not that hard to put anchors into existing concrete. Seems like a good idea to think this out ahead, but no matter where you put it, you will probably want to move it somewhere else after you start building/organizing your shop interior.

Yeah, but you don't want to be drilling multiple sets of holes in your new concrete floor. I put a 22' peice of tube in the bender (bending the far end) and let the remaining stick out. Put load on the tube (it will move a few degrees) and point the end sticking out towards a corner of the shop. I made the mistake of not putting load on tube, and now if I put a full stick in, it hits the wall when I start bending. I forget the dimensions, but the shop is a standard 3 bay garage.
Sorry, no pics, I'm kinda about 8000 miles away from the shop right now!
