Some also have bushings. If you have more money to spend I would get one with bearings and a machined v-block clamp instead of that crappy strap clamp. My next notcher will have the machined v-block clamp and bearings. I also like the feature where the degrees are CNC'd into the backing plate.

You coul get the harbor freight one and save yourself some $$$. I have finally about worn the brass bushing out in mine. That one does have needle bearings and will last longer.
It took 3 years and probably 400 notches to wear mine out. I will just buy another and do it again. Yes a bearing would be nice though. But for the price I will buy cheap. It has some play but still gets the job done with out being off to much on the wobble.

i got one off ebay that was the same design. pretty much did every notch with it on my new cage. worked just fine.
