im pretty sure a new one goes for about 600.....and i have 3 pumps to get rid of:D

$OR gets $295 for a rebuilt with $100 core
But then again www.cskauto.com only get $69.99 and a $20 core charge.

As to whether or not this one works, I'm sure it does. I just never used it, so I didn't want to lie about how good it is.

$40 seems high to me after visiting CSK auto, but who knows. $40 might seem cheap to someone having to pass a smog test or visual inspection. I'm always open to an offer. But putting up a make offer is forbidden here. I just need to move some of this stuff. I have 3 shelves and a storage trailer full of stuff that I don't use but don't want to throw away.

Pricing used parts is a PITA. Location makes such a difference. Like I sold both sets of the bumperettes. Those would never have sold in Idaho. Most of the folks who wanted them were from TX. I recieved over 20 emails on that. The step went to WY, but I received 32 emails on the step. Get this, I sent some parts to Japan. Is that insane? Shipping parts to where the Cruisers are made. They didn't have the parts because of the strict emissions so they don't have old cars. Where do you think Marv gets all of his used Cruiser stuff? Well, some of it.

The CSK one doesn't come with a pulley either. That could be fun to locate if your PO tossed the smog gear and you need to replace it all.

Eric's a good guy, he's not trying to screw anybody. I've heard nothing but bad about the pumps you can get at the auto parts stores, they aren't actually toyota pumps just some crap made to fit. If it's too high nobody will buy it.

I never said he was a bad guy;) I should not even comented but I could not help my self. When I did both my Engine conversions I gave all of that 2F CRAP away to whoever wanted to mess with it except I traded some seats for block and head. I just think its funny how much some of the cruiser stuff goes for and I was just talking shit. I am sure someone will buy your smog pump.

Funny part is for about 600 more you can have a running TBI to put in your cruiser.

I have a running TBI in my Cruiser. I didn't take it as you saying I was a bad guy. That isn't what you said at all. It is just really hard to price stuff. I mean I look at SOR and I say 1/3 to 1/4 of what they get for them used. Sometimes this is too cheap sometimes it is too expensive. I way underpriced the bumperettes and the step. I had over 50 emails on those two items. Then stuff like the window glass I'm basically giving away.

Try $745 for a new one if you can find one. The rebuilt ones WILL NOT pass smog here in Cali, trust me I tried. :p
