Has anybody ever used one of the current Utica torque wrenches? Utica Used to make edjustable wrenches and pliers "back in the day" out of utica new york, but have since gone out of buisness. the Name USED to be quality. Now, cooper tools is making utica torque wrenches. Utica Makes Dotco, which is high quality stuff, but they also make cresent, which is taiwanese stuff.

Where do the UTICA torque wrenches fall on the quality scale, and where are they made?

I have some Utica pliers that my dad gave me..Quality stuff.

As far as the new torque wrench, price will tell all.

I saw some the Crescent tools at Costco, too bad there made in Taiwan.

I think that it's a false representation when companies use old brand names of tools that used to be made in USA and are now made in foriegn countries.

Yeah I have quite a few pairs of Utica pliers, and they are all older than I am, but still awesome. Another old brand you might want to check out is krauter.

I cant findout where they are made ANYWHERE!
