I'm going from manual steering to power using a gm 85 s-dime power steering box and pump. Problem is, I can't find a dual harmonic balancer to run two belts to power the pump and compressor. I checked with Jegs, 4wdhardware, and quadratec, but no go. Does anyone make a dual harmonic balancer, or a secondary to add onto the main balancer?

I had trouble finding people who made v-belt pullies new, so what worked for me was to take a tape measure and hit the pic-n-pulls. Found exactly what I wanted for not much money.

Not sure if I'm understanding you correctly or not but for what it's worth I went and looked at my 78 CJ's 304 w/pwr str and it's got the dual belt deal but the pulley bolts to the front of the balancer-so what you need is just the pulley and not necessarily the whole balancer.Hope this helps in some manner.

I did not catch the motor you are running, but I thought I would bring up that the AMC motors each have their own external balance. Make sure you use a balancer from the same size engine as you are using in your rig. Same goes for flywheels. They can be interchanged, but it requires a trip to the shop for some rework on the balancing.

If you are using an AMC pwerplant, try:http://www.bulltear.com/forums/index.php. They seem to be the experts on AMC motors.

I'm running the 258, what I'm asking, is are there any aftermarket or stock dual crankshaft pulley's? Dual meaning you can run two belts off the crankshaft pulley such as your main belt and an accessory belt for A/c power steering, etc...?
