Can someone measure their 3spd tcase. I have a dana 20 now and I am going back to the 3spd tcase (planning on getting the AA crawler box). I am trying to figure out how much rear driveshaft I am going to have left.

I need the measurement from the tranny mounting surface to the middle of the U-joint (center of the hole in the output yoke).

How much length does the drum brake add to the transfer case?

It can be removed right?

I measure about 11 inches, front surface of the TC to the center of the Ujoint cap. Or about 9 1/2 inches from the front surface to the flat rear surface of my park brake drum. I think the drum is removable separately, can't remember for sure. Might gain you 3/16 inch max.
