I made it up Potato Salad Hill with no problem, even had a few "exspensive" rigs looking on. I was mostly stoked at getting up Rocker Knocker on Pritchett Canyon Trail. I had two guys pulling on a strap, it took a while though. The bad part was having to go back down at night, nobody else wanted to go on! I heard The Rock Pile is a winch only thing anyway, and I don't have one yet. We also did Kane Creek, the water was about four feet in some spots. At one point I had a foot of water in the back and it was mid shins in the front, but I was able to back out.
All in all it was a fun trip, I went by myself though (my chik went too). I met some kids from Colorado and talked them into the tough stuff! I rolled on Pritchett, sank on Kane Creek, and had to strap the T-case back up on Poisen Spider Trail! It sounds bad but none of those kept me from wheelin.
Do most Zuks make it up Potato Salad Hill? What about Rocker Knocker?

Sounds like fun....
I hear Pritchett Canyon now cost $5, is that true?
Not that it's a big deal, it's still worth it. :)
Potato Salad Hill is known for it's rool overs. If you get sloppy it'll bite! I did not have any problems with it last year, but I needed a couple helping hands to get up rocker knocker last year, and a full blown pull for rock pile. The best one was the 'couple guys on a strap' trick for white knuckle hill. Now that's some pucker factor! The hill is not that bad, but it's real close to that long drop. :) The only thing that realy kicked my @ss last year was double whammy. Just could not find the line. But, I've got a mission this year. :D
I also hear that Proving Grounds has been closed. Are they any new or tougher trails out there? I was really looking forward to running that one again. :(
Hummm, 1 month, 11 days to go.....
Yea, what Oilburner said, where's the pics????

you cross private land on the first of pritchett canyon, i think it was 2 bucks last year, well worth it. it was on the honor system just a box and a paper to sign. the guys with me in zooks had some tough times on the big ledges but did quite well. they had to winch up the back side of rocker knocker.

A guy in my club just got back from there a week ago, he ran lower proving grounds then walked the upper portion. It isn't closed and there are no gates.....unless that happened less than a week ago. Doesn't another trail run across proving grounds?
