Jay Frem 11-29-2005, 12:18 PM My chassis is slightly rusty and scratched.... Thinking to recoat it with marine paint...Do rover chassis end up by corroding? Also my rear body lift chassis mounts have shown some cracks? Is it normal. Appreciate any insights on the subject. That should be tough enough if you can lay your hands on it. revor 11-30-2005, 07:58 PM Cracks? Fix the cracks first then paint.. Any crack in a frame should be drilled at the end of the crack and then welded up then fish plated if you can.. Use POR 15 to paint if you can get it. Zinc is good for protection but nasty though.. you can get a bad "cold" from welding it. | |
