posi is just a general motors half-term, supposed to be posi-traction. Ford uses Trac-lok. Both clutch style limited slips.

Because limited slips are limited at best...more like worthless. You MIGHT be able to either replace the clutches or cram some extra clutches into the factory l/s you have, but either way, you are not going to gain much.
If you want both tires to pull, either look for a Detroit or an ARB...not cheap, but they actually work.
Just to let you know, my 05 F250 has the l/s rear...but even on a brand new truck is is all but non-existant.

You have several options...
Rebuild what you have -- cheap and effective for a while.
Change the carrier to a true Detroit Locker -- expensive but lasts forever.
Change the spider gears over to a "lunchbox locker" ala Aussie, etc. -- works well as a true locker, but not as strong as the Detroit.
Change the carrier to a selectable locker -- electrac, ARB, etc. -- expensive but effective.
I run the Ford trac-loc setup in my daily driver, but set the clutch plates up tight for better traction out of both tires (you have a choice of shims) It's not as good as a true locker, but then I also get to drive the truck home after I'm done wheeling because I don't break axle shafts.
On a pure wheeler, I'd go locker or even weld everything (Lincoln Locker -- cheap, but difficult to steer).

I'm thinking that it should be a 10.25 Sterling.
The gearless locker, if I'm not mistaken, is installed very similar to the Lock-right...it replaces the spider gears in a factory open case. Nothing wrong with them, but you can't install any of the lunchbox lockers in a l/s diff.
