I've been looking around in the search till my eye's are buggin out.
I wanted to see what the Ford 203 looks like before any modifications are done to it to make it a doubler. Yaknow like just removed from donor rig kinda thing.
I'm narrowing in on some of the last few big items I need yet for my domestic buggy project and this is one of the items I'm searching for - well the search for this really has just begun - the Ford D60 HP and 14 bolt were on the list before the 203 case, I'm happy to say they are now found and off the wanted list.
I figured out what rigs to look for just not sure what it looks like complete.

just look at the stick. should have a pattern of a full time case. Also the case is HUGE. Should be hard to mix up with a 205.
Mine came out of a 79 bronco with an auto. They seem to be mostly with an auto but i can not say for sure it is always that way.

Mr.N, your list is pretty much on Q with what I've found by searching. Around the 76 - 79 F series trucks and 78-79 Bronco's - all with autos?!? But even then it was an option from what I've read. Just have to do allot of hunting at this juncture
Nigel, the auto from what I've read seems to be the tranny of choice Ford used for the 203. This kinda bums me out as I've past up several Ford auto's with T cases in the past when I was all Toyota. I don't remember what they looked like anymore :shaking:

but an auto does not mean it has a 203. A 79 f250 parts truck i bought had a c-6 w/ 205. They are easier to find in auto broncos and f100-150. Seem to be more common in lighter duty applications.
