I have a 91 Ranger with a sagging rear end, thought I had heard that explorer leaf springs could be used and would give about 2 inches of lift. Does anyone know if this is true? I've looked at 91 explorers and they have the axle over set-up instead of the axle under/block combination, but the mounts are in different locations. Thanks for the help.

I think the 2 door leafs are probably the same, but any set of 4 door leafs from any year would work.

any year explorer/navaho leaf packs will work on the ranger. the best ones to use are the 4 door explorer leafs. all you have to do is flip the center pin on the springs and bolt them up. the 4 door springs should lift it up a good 2" maybe even 3" with nothing in the bed. I cant say anything about the 2 door explorer springs and the lift anount they give, but they will handle a load better than the ranger springs.

Check www.therangerstation.com , there's quite a bit of info on Explorer spring swaps there.
Yes, basically you turn the centering pin over and bolt them in.
thanks for the help everyone, now to start searching junk yards...
