I have some diamond plate on my Cruiser that I am going to remove and check for crap under there. I saw some flush type fasteners that someone used to attach their plate and remove it easily. The fastensers I believe were stainless and funky screw-locking type that did not stick out much. Anyone on the board such an animal?
Thanks

I used 6-32 stainless steel button head screws. They look like pop rivets from a distance, or maybe that's just my poor eyesight.
I like them cause you can remove em easily if you have too. Also when I put the diamond plates back on I coated them with a waterproof sealer for boats that I bought at West Marine. Figured if their sealed up so water can't get behind them I won't have to worry about rust later on.

Dzus Web Site (http://www.dzus.com/)
Image is from Jegs Catalog (http://www.jegs.com)
www.pegasusautoracing.com (http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/) is another source for them, but their catalog is not online. Still good folks to deal with.
