i seached and came up with little. how hard is it to put a newer 60 under a 78? i know the 77 1/2-79 bolts right under, but whats involed in puttin the newer ones in? anybody got any pics? thanks

The newer 60's spring perches are wider than the 78-79.

I have a 79 D60, and had to do the same type of research.

you will have to spread your sping mounts (on your truck) apart to fit the newer axle.

The spring mount on the newer axle is integrated in to the pumkin so forget about simply moving the perches.

You can get around this all by going with a coil spring set up.

I was thinkin about doing the same so could i just add to more spring mounts where i want them this will be on my 81 f150 with sas and leifs
