I am considering chopping the top to my 1984 FJ60. It would be a 3/4 chop and I would also bob the tail. In doing this, my main concern is being able to have a top for when the weather turns bad (snow/rain). Does anyone know the right material to use for making a soft top and where to buy this material? Has anyone done this and could you post pictures of your chop job, soft top and give advice etc... Thanks for all of your help.

I have a chopped and bobbed 87 FJ60. 16 inches bobbed and roof is cut up to the B pillar so you still have some shelter. I thought about geting a soft top made but really whats the point? do a search under my name there are countless posts with pictures of it. THere are also a few threads how I did it if you are interested in that.
