What can people that own these tell me about them? Power? What breaks on them? Is an extended warrent worth it? I will be buying brand new probally when the 06 models are being replaced with 07's. Just doing research ahead of time.

That's just a good solid quad. Not very popular though. Probably because it's not an automatic. I can't remember ever doing any major repairs on one. I wouldn't think you need an extended warranty. As far as power I think 400 is plenty on the trail, But then nothing is enough on the gravel road back to the truck. Hope this helps

Sorry probably a dumb question but are you talking about the Grizzly 660. My Uncle's got one and its a torquey little bastard, heavy though, very heavy.

I have one and love it. I got it b/c I wanted a manual and 4wd. It isn't super fast prob. ~45mph but it is fine for the woods and work.

Exactly.
Big Bear/Kodiaks are great machines. Properly maintained, they will last a very long time. The only specific area of concern I can think of is keeping the front spindle hardware reasonably clean. By this, I mean making sure the dust caps are always there and the hardware well-oiled. But that could be said about any ATV.
As far as set up goes, I like my manual, high/low + reverse gearing, and a 45mph top speed. Put a hitch on it and it is ready to work.

unstable= likes to tip on it's side way to easy, i don't know it hard to explain i felt more comfortable on a honda rancher, or a rincon i felt like i had more control over the quad in off camber or tippy situations
