Sorry guys! I have bought a 1990 Ford F-150 off my friend. It's got a bad motor, I gotta replace the brake lines and seal up a few things.

Question One: A 302 V8 will slide right in, am I correct?
Question Two: I need to replace the bed of the truck. Do I need to disconnect any lines or wires to take it off, or just bolts?

Sorry for the stupid questions, I'm not that much of a knowingly guy.

Thanks!

well youll have to disconnect the rear wiring harness for the light, take off the necks to the gas tanks and make sure no1 ran lines connected to the bed on any mods done, i dunno bout the 302 swap.

Well, I just got a call from my friend said he made a mistake and told me there is a 302 V8 already in it. So I'm assuming another one will slide right in.

There are no mods done to this truck yet. I have plenty of plans. lol. After I replace the motor, I'm going to take the bed off, which is all rusted and put a new one on. After that, all the lifts are going to be put on. Finally, tires. That will hurt my wallet.

Yes a 351 W will also bolt in aswell as a 300 6 cilinder both of wich i would rather have over the 302 but if u want to do some converson stuff i would do it wright the first time and go 460.And let your power worries be gone.
