What are the thoughts on a Tools Section in the Classified forum? I know that people post tools in the Miscellaneous section, but there is an awful lot of stuff to wade through.

Just a thought...

I made that suggestion back when they modified the Vendor's Forum but never got a response.
It would really make browsing tools mo'betta.

Would I have to get a yellow star, or could I sell a few used tools, since I'm a Snappy dealer? I'm not looking to hawk my wares online in a big way, Snappy corporate seriously frowns on that, just some stuff that some folks might want.

I'd see it as the sort of stuff you'd normally post in the "miscellaneous" section, just weeded out from the dogs, kitchen appliances, adult toys, etc... :)

I'm sure that some would argue that we don't need eleventy-billion different classified forums. Just thinking that since we have a "shop" forum it might be nice to have a "shop" classified.

I think it'd be great. I've actually wondered why it's not there. colorado4x4.org which is also on the PBB server (I'm told, don't know the details) has this and it's awesome, found lots of good deals without having to wade thru misc

i dont like the idea. i am willing to wade through a lot of posts in misc classifeids, so that you all cant get snag the good stuff for sale before i can get it!

Because you'd have to wade through the whole post instead of just looking for titles and because 75% of the stuff would likely be stuff that already sold that people didn't bother to delete...

Seeing as how this great idea is over 1 1/2 yrs old, mabey it would be better to ask for an "adult toys and kitchen appliances section" to help clean out the "miscellaneous" section :grinpimp:
