I'd like to raise my engine and trans to gain a little more pan clearance. I'm running a 327 in my cj5 , using Advance Adapters saddle mount. The motor mount is starting to rot , so I would like to find a " doughnut " around 1" to 2" high by 3" diameter. Has anyone any ideas on what to use and where to get it? ( No, I don't want to use a body puck from a lift kit ) Thanks.
Yes , I searched !!!!:D

Is it the AA mount where to motor has a plate on it that sits on a plate on the frame with a rubber mount sqished in between?

Mine are like this and I had problems with the rubber mounts goign to hell in no time bcause the exhaust was close and I don't think the AA mounts are all that great. Last time the rubber mount died I got a set of poly body bushings and drilled the center hole out to fit the bolt and used those with a big washer top and bottom to spread the load on the mount. The only pain was I had to cut make a bushing to fill the hole in the AA mount, the mounts I have there is a great big hole and the mont has a little "nipple" on it that centers the mount. It worked great like that but I later stoped using the bushing so I could get the motor back a little farhter (every mm counts:D ) and have had no problems like that.

I seem to remember that '55-'57 chevy motor mounts are that style, maybe check them out for a start.
