Common wisdom would probably say put the first ;ocker in the rearend, but I've read a couple of places suggesting put it in the front first, especially when driving on the street a lot. What do you think?

i would put it in the front, i ran an open rear end in moab this year, and only noticed it a couple of times, the year before i had a locked rear and really needed the front locked. and it is completly fine on the street, doesn't change the manners one bit. but i much prefere them both. mike

FYI, If you don't have power steering, having a front locker might make you hate life at times ;) Just another thing to take into consideration.

If you had it in 2wd low only the rear hooks what good is the locker in the front. Think about it

Here's the story...

Made a trip to the Hammers one weekend and we ran Wrecking Ball, that evening we ran Sledge Hammer, and the following day we ran Jack Hammer. We did a triple header on some of the toughest trails I have ever seen. I think I left the Hammers with tennis elbow from having no Power Steering...

No man. I mean to be able to disingage the front wheels when in a stearing bind because of front locker. How does the 2wd low mod help out in this situation? ( who has font locked w/t-case mod?) (you like?)

I dont know about all this, but one question for all of you Fragem and bagem Zuki guys, how many of you have ran a locker in the rear of a stock zuki axle and how many rear axles have you broken as a result of said locker in the rear....?

thats what I thought, I am going with one in the rear because I dont have power steering and I am essentially a big pus...

GAWD if i hear of another whiner talking about how much they hate the "clicking" and "banging" i am gonna puke:barf: put the thing in the rear end and dont look back. unless you are built like me, or you have a 2-low conversion, you cant handle a locker in the front!!:flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: you wont break a birfield, you wont get pissy because you dont have power steering and you wont get tennis elbow!!:D :D if you think a locker is a better value in the front, go for it. you will regret it!!

I agreee with spence on this one, the axles are bigger and less prone to breakage, and you wont get, diberticulitus of the elbows and wrists:D :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Just hold em off for a few Seconds...:vader2:

Rear, the rear pushes while the front pulls. Works better to push the rig over obsatcles, if it has to be one or the other. I agree with fatkids first post though.
