Anybody here running a non-Usa Carb/Distributer set up? Carb needs a rebuild, I am thinking about spending the cash on a new set up. Junked the emissions, Also need a source for the carb, checked out Spectre all ready. Thanks :trooper:

Before you buy a new one, email bigredfj40 from this board (bigredfj40@aol.com) he has one that he bought for his 2f, put it on once, never ran with it, and took it off because his 2F is too built and needs more cfm than it could offer. Nice carb for a stock 2f, though. I think he would treat you right on the cost, and it would save you some $$$.

I just pulled a 2bbl non usa carb, early points advance type distributor (non usa aftermarket), and a full Jacobs system out in favor of a fuel injection and a DUI set up.

The carb was purchased used and will need to be rejetted for your use. It needs at least a new top gasket if you plan to open it up. It requires a cable to operate, available from dealer or SOR, and has the needed ported vacuum source for the distributor.

The Jacobs was bought new by me a few years ago, and is complete, and it did improve the spark intensity and cold starting. Stock points are still good from the original install.

A pertronix module is available for the distributor if you want to eliminate the points. I can take pics, but not today. The distributoe has the advance/retard adjustment knob on the outside and a vacuum port.

I will include everything you need to install this except throttle cable. Includes plug wires, dist hold down, ignition coil etc..

I have a brand new (rebuilt) nonUSA carb that I had bought from Specter last year. It was installed on the truck but never ran with it because it was WAY too lean for my rig.
