ok guys, would the leaf packs out of a 1/2 ton chevy be too stiff for rear 1/4E??? what about the leafs out of a early chevette?? the vette springs are 2" wide and as long as yj springs only with an offset center bolt(longer front).....chevs are 8 packs i think and the chevettes are 3 packs....
now as some of you may be thinking (cause of my other post looking to put yjs in rear) whats going on.........well i have two samis in the works, one is my daily driver and off-roader and my other is like a chop-saw one.........not much body and getting about a 95-100" wheel base........ the yjs are for my dd zuki and the 1/4 is for my "rock-bettle"
also any pics of the 1/4 would be great....... thanks alot...

First of all, I know of 2 people running chevette springs in there suzukis, but they are not leafs, they are coils! Where the hell did you see a chevette with leaf springs?
Second of all, why the hell would anybody need a rock-buggy with 1/4 elliptical rear suspension in Canada, well atleast east of the rockies and in your case very east of the rockies! We don't have very many rocks, just alot of mud and snow! Are you planning to trailer your truck about 3000 miles, just to properly use it for what it was design for?

Probably a case of builder's envy. :D
There is such a thing as too much articulation, around here all it does is empty your pocket book.
But hey, if he wants it he should go for it.
