My friend has a 4" rancho lift on his f-j150 and would like to go to a 6 " superlift. The question is .... is there a difference in bracketry from 4 to 6" or is it just a difference in springs. I think the skyjacker kit is only different in the spring height. Thanks.

The drop brackets have a hole for 4 or 6" lift, and the coils are a different size.

Tell him to get the skyjacker though, the superlift brackets like to crack.......

I turned two skyjacker radius arms into the shape of u-bolts which in turn took the TTB with it. SASed it and never looked back.

Ok, for TTB both the Skyjacker and Superlift have pivot holes for 4" and 6". The only difference between the 4" and 6" lifts will be front shocks and coils (and whatever you used for rear lift of course). Rough Country might be like this, too - not sure.
Here's how you decide if you can't make up your mind: if you're a Bible-banger then go Skyjacker 'cause they'll preach to you on the back of their instructions sheet. If you prefer to not push your religion on others go Superlift. If you wanna 'wheel hard ditch the TTB. :flipoff2:

BTW 2bit, good to see you here! You're leaps and bounds ahead of the "tech" info spewed at MBB.

I think they wised up. The last couple instruction leaflets I saw were blank on the back.

I think Rancho does not have the 2nd hole in the TTB drop brackets,
Your stucking buying a whole new lift kit, either that or do a body lift or a SAS swap

Exactly right. I don't think Rancho makes a TTB lift bigger than 4" anyway.
