I'm getting reay to swap in some ford radius arms on the rear axle of my jeep. Usually the coil springs are located on the outside of the frame, on top of the rad arm. I'm considering positioning them inside the frame and mount them on top of the axle tube. I will be using front end springs so they will have a high spring rate. I'm thinking by mounting them inside, it will give the axle more leverage to flex and yet won't stretch and compress the spring as much. Anyone know if this setup would work properly? it will also be a semi-daily driver. thanks.

yeah it would work but you will get more sway in the corners, i tried this with my rear leafs on the chev, flexes nice but makes it feel more top heavy. I plan to add a disconnectable rear swaybar to solve this problem

someone told me once that with radius arms no sway bar is needed, but if I do get sway, it would be easy to add a sway bar. thanks
