guys, maybe I'm just really dumb, but the rear drums on my dd seem to be stuck. I took off the wheels and thought the drums should come off w/ a little persuasion. But to no avail. I don't need to take the axle bolts off do I?
I was having problems w/ the brakes locking up at a stop . I really couldn't tell if it was the rear brakes or the front brakes. Any ideas?

To get the drums off you will need a spindle socket for im assuming a 14bff. First pull out the axle shafts (fluid should spill) then undo the spindle nut with the special socket. Usually there is 2 spindle nuts. The whole hub and drum come off together. To reinstall look in a chiltons for torque specs if you have never done this before.

both of mine were stuck, so i decided to just go to discs rather than pay for drums. so i beat mine to death.
